2020 has been the most unforgettable year for almost everyone. It was like a live movie for all of us. From January to March, it was all good and happy like the starting of the movie, then suddenly in the last weeks of March we faced the Corona Virus and we were all scared, and then slowly and steadily we all gathered the courage to fight this virus, and here we are, at the end of December still fighting the virus.
The end of the movie is yet to come, but as in all the other movies, we know that our movie will also have a happy ending, and we will be able to defeat coronavirus soon.
We all know that we have to face various challenges in life, and we took COVID-19 as a challenge too. We have not let us fall down, and all the members of the Capermint Family have ensured that each and every member is facing this challenge head-on.
Here are some glimpse of our achievements in 2020
Implementation and Execution of New Normal – WFH
Coronavirus outbreak began with the Lockdown. We were stuck in our own homes, although this was for our safety, we were separated from our friends, family, and our work. Everyone was worried, sad, and many were depressed too.
You must have heard the phrase “A show must go on”, and what if we cannot go to work? We decided to bring work home. Lockdown was announced on 24th March, 2020, and we started working from home on 25th March, 2020. When you have a team of charismatic employees, nothing can stop you.
Onboarding Of New Talent in Lockdown
There were many adverse effects of the Lockdown, and the one thing that affected us the most was Unemployment. Many people lost their jobs in Lockdown. Businesses and companies were not able to commence their daily work and hence many lost their jobs.
There is always light after the dark, and luckily Capermint was the light for 28 employees that lost their jobs. At the time when companies were removing their employees, Capermint was hiring employees and was growing its family.
Virtual Team Training to increase Knowledge of Team
A happy employee is the key to happy customers. We have always followed a learning corporate culture in Capermint. We provide in-house training to our employees to help them grow in their careers, and to learn new and advanced skills. We carried online classes for our employees even in the Lockdown period so that they can learn and grow with us.
Inauguration of Our Brand New Bigger Work Space
Initially, the inauguration of the new office was planned in April, but before that Lockdown was implemented. We were this close to shifting to our new and highly anticipated office, but we had no other choice than to wait.
Finally, on 1st July, we inaugurated our new office. It was a huge leap for Capermint. All the employees were invited to see the new office and their desks, and to celebrate. We followed all the safety measures too. It was the day when all the new recruits got the chance to meet their new family. As for the employees that were out of town at their family home for Lockdown, they were also connected with us via Video Conference.
Work Appreciation in challenging new Normal
At Capermint, no one focuses on being the best, but we focus on being better. We believe that the term “best” is the most temporary status ever created. No one/nothing can stay best forever, however, you can always become better.
However, the company should always appreciate the extraordinary performance of their employees, and therefore, every month, we follow the ritual of appreciation, and we appreciate the accomplishments and efforts of our employees.

Virtual Celebration Of Days As Team Bonding Activity
In this tense environment of Coronavirus, many festivals and celebrations are being canceled. No fun and just work always have an adverse effect on productivity.
Therefore when the date of the Capermint Celebration week came, we decided that we will move forward with the celebration, but with all the safety measures. Let’s have a look at the Capermint Celebration Days.
- We celebrate “Mismatch day” in which everyone is supposed to wear the most strange matching combination that they can wear.
- Then there was the “Department Day” in which the departments have to select themes and dress accordingly.
- For the third day, we had the “Traditional Day”, and as the name suggests, everyone wore Traditional dresses on that day
- Fourth day was the “Capermint Premier League” in which we held the cricket match.
- Fifth Day was the “Executive Day” in which everyone came informal clothes.

Celebrating our 6th consecutive successful Year of Capermint Technologies
On 6th November 2020, we celebrated the 6th Anniversary of Capermint. The family started with just 3 people and now here we are with a team of 70+ team members.
We completed 6 years of developing effective and intrusive mobile apps and games. It was a proud moment for us all and we marked this date as the starting line of going to the “next level”. Before the 7th anniversary, we want to create many tales of satisfied customers and chartbuster apps.
However, this all will start from 6th November, as today is the day to celebrate and have the most tasty pizza party!

A company should always appreciate their employees and reward them for the same when they perform exceptionally well, however, there is no such obligation for the client.
Our team has always believed in developing the best apps to satisfy the clients. And in this instance, the client was not only satisfied, but they were very happy with the apps, and to appreciate the team’s hard work, they sent a surprise package for our Ludo Fantasy Team.
Celebrating Special Day of Teammates in New Normal
After lockdown first time, we celebrated the birthday one of our teammates with precautions too! Company culture is always crucial for a creative and positive environment. And, this kind of small-small happy moments creates a positive and engaging working environment.
We always had a tradition to celebrate the birthday of our team members with cakes, however, this ritual was affected due to work from home. But, as soon as work from the office resumed, we resumed our tradition too. Our sweet tooth was aching for the yummy cakes, and as our team keeps growing, it means we will have more cakes to eat!
Grand Celebration of Our Boss’s Birthday with our WFH and WFO Team
More than being our Boss, Vivek Shah is our Mentor. He is a friend that we can rely on. He is the one that makes sure that we are not only working in the office but that we are enjoying and growing.
He has inspired and motivated us all. He is the glue that keeps this Capermint Family together. We all respect and love him a lot. However, this doesn’t mean that he will be spared from giving us a birthday party.
We celebrated his birthday with many cakes and gifts. And we also had a family lunch together.
Festival celebration to showcase the valuation of our Indian Culture
Diwali is the festival that we celebrate with our family members, and in Capermint, we consider each and every member as a family, and therefore we have to celebrate Diwali as a Family too.
Gifts were sent to all the team members and we all went out to have lunch. After lunch, everyone went home for “Diwali Puja” and to celebrate 3 awesome days with their families.
So it’s just not finished yet, it’s just started with energy and more positivity for 2021. As Capermint, we are ready to rule 2021 with a Fresh experience team with talent who having eager to serve our client with the quality of work and industry best solution.
