Slot game art outsourcing company

Build the look.
Plan the whole title.

Capermint works with art directors, producers and iGaming teams commissioning a new visual title, refreshing a slot theme or adding art capacity. Start with the assets and decisions your team actually needs.

What do slot game art services cover?

Slot game art services create the visual assets of a slot: concept art, symbols, characters, backgrounds, reel frames, UI, paytable layouts and animation. A production brief also defines editable sources, engine exports, localization, revision rounds and acceptance checks.

Game maths, gameplay code and certification are separate workstreams unless explicitly included. For a combined build, explore casino game development.

Slot art production scope

Every visual layer.
One coherent game.

Commission a complete package or select the workstream your production is missing. Each asset belongs to an approved style, a screen context and an acceptance checklist.

Slot symbol & character design

Define high, medium and low symbols, card royals, wilds, scatters and feature icons as one visual family. Plan silhouette, value hierarchy, layered construction and every required state.

Approve a representative symbol at its actual reel size.

Slot backgrounds & feature screens

Commission base-game environments, reel frames, bonus scenes, loading screens and transitions. Separate depth layers where needed and preserve contrast behind the reels.

Approve base and feature compositions before extending the set.

Slot game UI & responsive layouts

Design controls, meters, menus, help and portrait/landscape screens around the actual game specification. Include disabled, pressed and active states, safe areas and localized variants.

Review screens on the agreed device and orientation matrix.

Paytable & information screen art

Present client-approved symbol values, rules, feature explanations and win-line diagrams with clear hierarchy. Keep text editable and reserve space for approved market-specific labels.

Your maths and compliance owners approve the rules and final copy.

Slot animation & VFX

Scope symbol idle and win loops, feature triggers, character moments, reel effects and transitions. Agree Spine or frame-sequence exports, event names, timing and interruption behaviour.

Validate a representative animation in the nominated runtime.

Slot reskins & launch creatives

Replace a theme within an audited asset map or extend an existing visual system. Add game logos, lobby thumbnails and launch banners with agreed formats, language versions and rights.

Confirm source access and what the existing code can support.

Your asset list records quantities, dimensions, states, source formats, languages and review rounds before production begins.

A practical first commission

Start with a representative art pilot.

Scope one symbol, the required motion states, one reel-screen composition and a sample export. Agree the paid scope and review rounds, then check visual fit and runtime compatibility before expanding production.

Build your pilot brief ↓

Reel-size readability & motion

Great in a close-up.
Clear in the game.

  • Read the hierarchy: compare silhouette, value and colour at the smallest supported reel size, against the real background.
  • Direct the attention: define idle, anticipation, win, feature and exit states without obscuring controls or rule information.
  • Test the actual import: check atlas limits, alpha edges, pivots, text, animation events and target-device performance.
  • Design the alternatives: approve portrait/landscape compositions, reduced motion behaviour and localized layouts where required.

Your acceptance matrix specifies the actual screen dimensions, hardware and runtime for asset and animation checks.

Technical handoff & source files

Agree what “ready” means
before the first batch.

A beautiful preview is one checkpoint. Your developers also need the right files, versions and behaviour. Confirm a representative export with the integration owner early.

Global slot art collaboration

Your markets.
Your review rhythm.

We serve B2B buyers worldwide, including the GCC, UK and Europe, Latin America, the United States and Canada. Build the production brief around where your team works and where the approved game will be presented.

Layouts that travel

Scope client-approved translations, font coverage, text expansion, number and currency formats, and localized graphics. Arabic variants need a deliberate RTL review; Spanish and Portuguese variants need their own approved copy.

Reviews that move work forward

Agree timezone overlap, one feedback owner, review windows, quote currency and milestones. Your appointed language and market reviewers approve final text and required labels.

We provide art production services. A buyer’s location does not establish player-market eligibility or regulatory approval for a game.

Slot game art cost & production timing

Estimate the asset list.
Plan the approval path.

A per-symbol rate cannot price a complete title. Share the intended visual depth and required deliverables for a scoped proposal, with assumptions, exclusions and milestones visible.

What changes the estimate?

Symbol and screen counts, 2D or 3D workflow, animation states and duration, visual complexity, reskin source quality, localized variants, editable sources and integration support. Changes after art-direction approval also affect the work.

What changes the schedule?

Concept approval, pilot imports, asset batches, animation reviews and final acceptance. Consolidated feedback and timely source access matter. Your proposal names review windows and dependencies rather than attaching one timeline to every title.

Slot game art · Buyer questions

Answers before
you commission.

What is included in slot game art services?

A scoped package can include art direction, symbols, characters, reel frames, backgrounds, loading and feature screens, game UI, paytable layouts, animation and export files. Your asset list specifies counts, states, resolutions, source files and review rounds before production.

Can we outsource a complete slot title or just part of the artwork?

Both can be scoped. Commission a complete visual package, request a defined batch of symbols or animations, or discuss ongoing production capacity. Existing style guides and technical constraints are reviewed before the engagement model is agreed.

How much does slot game art outsourcing cost?

The estimate depends on the number of assets and states, style complexity, 2D or 3D production, animation length, screen variants, source-file requirements and integration support. Share your brief and budget range for a scoped estimate. A single symbol price is not a reliable budget for a complete title.

How long does a complete slot art package take?

The schedule is built from concept approval, asset production, animation, exports and integration review. Asset quantities, feedback turnaround, parallel work and engine dependencies change the timeline. Milestones and client review windows belong in the proposal; there is no universal delivery time.

Do you create Spine animation and engine-ready assets?

Spine animation, frame sequences, sprite sheets and rendered 3D assets can be specified where appropriate. Agree the engine, runtime version, export format, atlas limits, animation events and sample integration before full production. Runtime compatibility must be checked against the actual build.

Can you reskin an existing slot game?

A reskin starts with an audit of the existing asset map, screen layouts, animation states and source rights. New themes can replace symbols, backgrounds and UI within those constraints. Changes to reel structure, features or game logic require a separate development assessment.

Can the same art support portrait, landscape and localization?

Specify the supported layouts and languages at briefing. The production plan can include responsive compositions, safe areas, scalable UI, text expansion, localized graphic variants and readable symbol silhouettes. Approval should use the agreed target screen sizes rather than a single desktop mockup.

Does slot art production include game maths or certification?

Artwork does not establish RTP, volatility, RNG behaviour or regulatory approval. Maths, gameplay engineering, backend services, testing and certification are separate responsibilities unless explicitly contracted. The operator or appointed compliance specialist approves required labels and market-specific content.

Who owns the source files and final artwork?

The contract should define ownership or licence rights, source-file delivery, payment conditions, third-party dependencies and permitted reuse. Supplied brand assets also need appropriate rights. Agree the production tools, source-file requirements and licensing terms before work begins.

How should we evaluate a slot art studio’s portfolio?

Ask for the exact contribution on each example: concept art, symbols, UI, animation or integration. Review visual consistency at actual screen size, animation readability and a representative export. Check the scope of delivery and the relevant client reference.

How are feedback, revisions and handoff managed?

Use an asset register, a named approver and scheduled review gates. Approve direction before producing the full set; consolidate feedback and record scope changes. Handoff acceptance should cover naming, versions, source files, exports and the agreed in-engine checks.

What should we send to request a production proposal?

Send the theme, reference style, game or feature brief, asset counts, animation states, engine/runtime, target screens, launch window and budget range. Identify whether you need a complete title, a reskin or recurring capacity. If the scope is still forming, state the decisions you need help resolving.

Can we commission slot art from the GCC, Europe or Latin America?

Yes. Capermint accepts B2B project inquiries worldwide, including the GCC, UK and Europe, Latin America, the US and Canada. Agree the review timezone, contracting entity, quote currency, target languages and delivery milestones in the brief. Service availability is distinct from whether a game may be offered to players in a particular market.

Can you prepare Arabic, Spanish or Portuguese layouts?

Localized graphic variants can be scoped around client-approved translations. Specify languages, font licences, number and currency formats, text expansion and any right-to-left layout requirements. Arabic UI needs a reviewed reading order and direction-sensitive elements; changing text alone is not enough. Linguistic and market approval responsibilities are agreed before production.

Can we begin with one symbol and one reel screen?

A scoped pilot can cover a representative symbol, its agreed animation states, a reel-screen composition and a sample export. Agree the paid scope, revision rounds, files and acceptance checklist first. A pilot can test visual fit and integration assumptions before commissioning a whole title; it is not a free production commitment.

How do 2D, 2.5D and 3D slot art differ?

Illustrated 2D assets, layered or rendered 2.5D assets and a 3D production workflow have different source, lighting and animation needs. Choose the approach from your visual brief, supported hardware, target runtime and revision needs. A rendered image does not automatically include a reusable 3D model or animation rig.

Can you create marketing assets as well as in-game art?

Loading art, game logos, lobby thumbnails, banners and launch creatives can be included as separate deliverables. Define dimensions, editable text, localization versions, animation and usage rights. Marketing screenshots and claims should match the approved game rather than suggest features that are not present.
