The app offers various categories of events like exhibitions, concerts, social events, sports, parties, and many more. You can also search according to your preference.
The events come with a detailed view with the timing and address of the event. There will be a detailed description for the event a;ong with various reviews of the event too. Book the ticket within the app to avail special discounts.
The app is for finding nearby events and to book tickets for the same. Therefore it was important to add various payment gateways in the application. The first challenge was for the same, as we had to add various payment integrations in the app to provide the users with multiple payment choices so that they can choose according to their preference.
The second challenge was the cancellation policy. The app should provide a refund based on the refund policy. Getting a refund on Angola Experience is very easy and simple. The users can avail full refund if any inadequate booking was made. However, if the user cancels the booking very close to the event day, or just before the event, the refund will be processed by the app according to the refund policy.
The first strategy was to allow the users to book tickets in real-time and update the event manager about the same.
The second strategy was to show all the nearby events to the users so that they can pick according to their preferences.
The third strategy was to develop and design a simple and easy refund process to increase the user-friendliness of the app.
As soon as you start using the app, it will ask for your GPS location. Once it is enabled, the app will showcase all the events nearby to your current location. Browse through the various events to find the perfect event for you. You can also use the categories section to search for events based on various categories.
You can also set the location manually to other places to get the list of events of that place. You can use various filters and sorting options to find the best event for yourself. The advanced search algorithm allows the users to enter various keywords, and the app will show the related search results to the user.
As soon as your search for the events in your area, you will be presented with a list of events that are up for booking. You will be able to see the location, event type, date, time, and the starting price of the booking in this section. If you find anything that you like, click on the event to open a detailed view of the event.
The detailed view of the event comes with ratings and reviews from various users. You can refer to them to decide if you want to book this event or not. The event’s detailed view will also have the location coordinates, date, time, booking price, and an elaborated description of the event.
Go to my profile and click on the bookings option to see all your current and past bookings. The booking will come with the payment history too. You can also use this to post reviews for your past bookings. The current bookings will show you the event’s location, the number of tickets that you booked, and the discounted price.
Click on a category to get a list of all the events of that category. The list will show you events according to the date. You can use various sorting features to sort the list. All the events will have their date, time, and booking amount listed with their exact location. Click on the event that you like to open a detailed view.
If you like the event and want to book tickets for the same, just click on the “Buy Tickets” option for an easy payment and checkout process. You can buy as many tickets as you want, and the total amount will be displayed at the bottom. You can select from the various payment integrations for easy and hassle-free payment.
The first thing that we checked was the proper listing of all the events by the event managers. Then we tested the GPS integration for accurate location to show the nearby events. Then we tested the payment integration with a new integration and for security of the same. We tested the user friendliness of the app and made various changes to the UI/UX of the app to create the best results.
We tested the app for an easy payment and checkout process. We checked the advanced search algorithms to show the most accurate search results. We also tested the categories to show just the events that correspond to the relevant category.
Real time data transfer from User app to Service provider app : To keep the ticket count accurate, we created algorithms that facilitate real-time data transfer between the user and the service provider app.
Customized Admin commission module: To facilitate real time admin commission, we added a customized admin commission module in the app that allows the app to transfer commission to the admin.
Location-based event booking app: The GPS integration allows the app to showcase only the nearby events that the user can browse through to find and book the perfect event for themselves
