VIPP SN is a social media platform that the users can use to talk, share photos and videos, search content, and connect with other users. The app hands privacy and controls to the users, and therefore you will decide who can what in your profile and feed.

The app allows the students to search, share, message and connect with other students. The students can find their university on the map, and then they can connect with other students of the university using this app. Users can capture all the moments and share them with their friends and family in an instance because as soon as the user opens the app, the app will open the camera first.

In VIPP SN, the client wanted us to make an app for students and people worldwide, which can help them manage their daily social life with privacy and controls in their hands. The users should have control of who can see what in their profile and feed.

The application user should be able to upload Chapters (stories that will be available for 24 hours) and control who can see the chapters. The app should allow users to click photos and shoot videos with multiple camera capture filters and effect features.

Capture And Share Every Moment

As soon as you open the VIPP Sn app, the app will open the camera for you to capture your moment. Take a photo, shoot a video and upload it as a chapter in your profile and in your feed. The chapters are visible only for 24 hours, and therefore you can upload a new photo or video in your chapter every day.

Search Your Favourite Restaurent Or Dish

Once you have captured the moment, you can apply various filters in the photo or video to make it a piece of art. You can add text, write something, add stickers, and even add music to your photo or video. You can also even add location or tag someone in your photo or video. There are various slow motion and fast forward effects for videos.

Add People In Various Relationships

You can manage who can see what in your feed and profile based on the relationship that you add them to. There are various types of relationships in the app: super friends, friends, family and acquaintances. The users can add other users in the relationships to control their visibility throughout the app.

Explore The Maps

Open the map to see the location of your friends and family. You can see the last location where they used the app on the map, or you can also get their live location. You can also set the map visibility based on the relationships. Search for places that you wish to go to or see chapters of various people based on the location.

Browse Through The Feeds

The feed is where you can see the content of your friends, family, and other Vippers in the app. There will be no ads in the feed option. Open the feeds option to see what your super friends, friends, family, and acquaintances have posted in their chapters. You can filter your feed based on the relationship with other users.

Businesses And Official Accounts

The app can keep you engaged for hours. There are various business accounts on the app that post chapters every day that you can enjoy after following them. Users can get their profile certified after a certain number of followers, and you can follow such certified users to get an unlimited source of engaging content.

Manage Your Profile

All your content will be available in your profile. The chapters and posts that you upload will be there in the profile. You can edit your profile picture and add your bio here. You will be able to see your followers and the number of profiles that you are following. Upload amazing posts in your profile to gain followers.

Test & Launch

The first feature that we tested was the privacy and control feature that enables the users to decide who will see what is in their profiles. Then we tested the location accuracy for location sharing and the maps feature of the app. We tested the camera settings and the smooth working of various filters and editing options. We tested the chat and feeds feature to ensure that the app provides the perfect experience to all the users.

We tested the app’s security to ensure that all the messages and chats are end-to-end encrypted, to ensure that the user’s privacy is not invaded.
